David Rovics is based in Portland, Oregon, and has been called the musical voice of the progressive movement in the US and Alistair Hulett was born in Glasgow but moved to Australia at the age of eighteen where his band Roaring Jack plyed its punk/rockabilly take on Celtic folk for many years. They will be in Melbourne next weekend - December 13 and 14.
