Campaigning to Save

River Red Gum Country!

We are campaigning for:

  • Aboriginal Owned National Parks in Victoria
  • Jointly Managed National Parks and reserves
  • 4000GL of water (over 5 year periods) to be used to water the remaining native vegetated floodplains
  • adequate funding for environmental and cultural heritage management of the Murray Red Gum forests and wetlands
  • appropriatestructural adjustment funding to be used to phase out unsustainable use of the redgum forests and improve sustainable socio-economic outcomes for local community members.
