Real Food Film Nights

Tuesday 4th, 11th &, 18th August, & 1st September 6.30pm
Friends of the Earth, 312 Smith Street, Collingwood

It's time to reconnect with our food and the planet over some hot soup and some wonderful new films on food issues.

Be some of the first to see latest release films 'Fresh' and 'Homegrown', plus hear extracts from Vandan Shiva, Raj Patel, La Via Campesina and Michael Pollan.

We'll explore the drawbacks of industrial farming, the food crisis and highlight the bright solutions or cooperatives, urbanan agriculture and community supported agriculture taking shape around the globe. Discuss the latest updates on new and old food campaigns, plus you'll be given the opportunity to take some action of your own through letter writing, petitions, postcards and maybe a visit to the supermarket or a bit of local digging!
